ISIL fighters’ families held against their will in Iraq

Thousands of women and children captured after the defeat of ISIL in Iraq are being held in detention facilities.

Human Rights Watch is urging nations to repatriate their citizens and hold fair trials for those accused of being associated with the armed group.
