Argentina crisis: Gov’t plans to cut ministries

Argentina is set to make a series of spending cuts in an effort to stabilise the country’s spiralling currency crisis after the peso lost more than half its value this year.

The Government has announced plans to slash half of its ministries.

One of those affected is the Ministry of Health, where hundreds of doctors, nurses and other heathcare workers have staged demonstraions in the capital.
