Fears a deal with the Taliban will affect Afghan women’s rights

The Trump administration’s efforts to strike a peace deal with the Taliban and withdraw US troops from Afghanistan have left many Afghans worried.

While some are encouraged by talk of the war ending, others fear a deal with the Taliban could limit women’s rights.
