Palestinians say 10 injured by Israeli fire at beach protest

JEDDAH: The Supreme Military Committee of Chiefs of Staff in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states started its 15th meeting on Monday with the participation of all members.

The meeting comes as a complement to a series of previous regular meetings of the chiefs of staff, which seek to achieve more coordination among the armed forces of the GCC countries.

In their meeting, the chiefs of staff discussed several topics related to the promotion of joint military action, aimed at bringing the GCC member states’ armed forces toward integration, at various levels.

The meeting will also discuss various subjects aiming for strengthening cooperation and coordination between the armed forces in the Gulf countries to promote a conjoined military action.
