Salah fourth fastest man to 50 Premier League goals
(CNN)During the course of this English Premier League campaign there are those who have claimed that Mo Salah has failed to hit the glorious heights of last season, but even if the Liverpool forward hasn’t set off the pyrotechnics as frequently as he did last year he has at least not forgotten how to score for his title-chasing side.
The Egyptian scored twice in a thrilling 4-3 win for Liverpool against Crystal Palace on Saturday to take his tally to 50 goals in the English Premier League.
Only three players — Andy Cole (65), Alan Shearer (66) and Ruud van Nistelrooy (68) — have reached the landmark in as few games as the 72 it has taken Salah to notch his half-century.
