When will the chronic malnutrition of Guatemala’s children end?

Guatemala has one of the highest rates of stunted childhood growth in the world, with almost half of children under the age of five chronically malnourished.

In indigenous Maya communities, that number is much higher.

Successive governments have promised to tackle the crisis but progress has been slow.
