Sudan protesters say army trying to break up sit-in

Sudan’s main protest group has accused the military of trying to break up a sit-in in the capital Khartoum.

That is where protesters have been gathering to demand an immediate handover to civilian rule.

The military toppled long-time President Omar al-Bashir three weeks ago, but it has been under increasing pressure to give up power.

Al Jazeera’s Mohamed Vall reports from Khartoum.
